Annual high-level conference on EU space policy asks ‘what direction for Europe in space between now and 2020?’
In coordination with the recently launched EU Multiannual Financial Framework 2014 – 2020 and the upcoming European Space Agency ministerial conference, the 6th edition of the Annual Conference on EU Space Policy is set to examine the future of Europe in Space.
Taking place 28 – 29 January in Brussels, the conference will bring together EU leadership, national decision makers, the GSA and related agencies, corporate leaders and civil society to address such pressing topics as the:
• Competitiveness of the European space industry
• International dimension of space
• Prospective state of play of EU space programmes
• Growing role of satellite telecommunications and the challenges facing operators
• New challenges and opportunities for Europe in space
• Defence and security dimension of space services and activities
Attendance to the conference is free, but registration is required.
